Roma Dell Gilliam (Henderson)
Roma Dell Gilliam 83, of Robinson, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, Nov. 13, at Robinson Cemetery, 620 E. Stegall Road, Robinson, TX, with Roy Krumnow officiating.
Roma was born in Limestone County, TX, to Carlie and Nora Henderson. She married BJ Gilliam on April 4, 1951. They loved traveling to blue grass festivals, motorcycle trips, and going to Whataburger for breakfast and taking walks at the mall. Her entire life was devoted to raising and loving her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. She was always happy and brought joy to everyone around her. Her love was always felt but also shown by countless hours in sports bleachers, countless hours babysitting, and countless grilled cheese sandwiches.
Roma was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, BJ Gilliam; son, Bobby Ray Gilliam; her parents; granddaughter, Rachel; four brothers; and four sisters.
Roma is survived by her children, Sharon Krumnow and husband Roy, Glenda Huang and husband George, and Gina Ward; daughter-in-law, Linda Gilliam; grandchildren, Luke Gilliam and wife Jennifer, Heath Krumnow and wife Elicia, Russell Krumnow, Shasta Sneed and husband Matt, Amanda Ferguson and husband Jonathan, Carlie Dill, Rebekah Gilliam, and Leah Gilliam; and her great-grandchildren, Caroline and Travis Gilliam, Aubrey and Jackson Krumnow, Elizabeth and Andrew Sneed, and Taylor and Corbyn Jo Ferguson.
